CNC Machinist (VTL: 1st Shift)

Position Details:
1st Shift 6:30am-3pm Mon-Fri
Your Expertise:
2-5 years of experience machining in an aerospace environment
Experience in machining plasma coatings and K/E seals on rotating aircraft parts
Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of GD&T
Familiar with Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Willing to learn basic CNC Programming

Your Challenge:
Set-up and operate NC VTL machines for pre-machining and finish machining for required operations or the repair of aircraft parts.
Work from process traveler, blueprints, parts drawings, manuals, specifications, operations sheets and verbal directions to determine proper dimensions and tolerances of finished part, sequence of operations, and set-up requirements for machining functions
Verify dimensions using standard measuring instruments, such as micrometers, depth gage, height gage, and vernier
Work with engineering department regarding material conditions, best positioning of part, tool pressure, etc. as required
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
This position is a safety sensitive position. Applicant must comply with all applicable FAA and DOT drug and alcohol testing rules.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
