Operations Manager - Specialty Fiber

Job Description and Responsibilities: Lead Specialty Fiber Operations, including Supply Chain (Planning, Purchasing and Inventory Management) and Manufacturing/QC Responsible for achievement of quality, delivery and revenue/margin performance goals in accordance with quarterly and annual plans Improve quality, reliability and efficiency of fiber manufacturing operations. Establish goals for lean manufacturing improvements and achieve same. Establish successful multi-shift operations that maximize use of capital assets Drive improvements in revenue forecasting, production scheduling, long-term capacity planning and inventory management. Ensure adequate communication to stakeholders for all Supply Chain issues Manage fiber supplier base to achieve improved quality, cost and delivery of raw materials and outside services. Establish appropriate metrics for supplier performance and monitor same. Ensure supplier base has adequate business continuity measures in place. As needed, negotiate master supply and quality agreements Work closely with R&D, Engineering and Quality Assurance to develop rapid, robust and seamless introduction of new products into manufacturing Work closely with Product Line Manager, Sales and Order Administration organizations to maximize customer satisfaction Develop a high-performance fiber operations team with a strong track record of meeting goals and a strong culture of Continuous Improvement Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline 10+ years of experience leading manufacturing and supply chain operations Hands-on expertise with global MRP systems is a must Ability to independently negotiate both tactical and strategic issues and report in to executive leadership Track record of implementing significant operational improvements in a manufacturing environment Track record of developing high-performance teams Specialty fiber manufacturing experience strongly preferred Proficiency in Oracle-based MRP is preferred but not required Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Due to government contract requirements U.S. citizenship or green card is required Job ID: 9365

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
